Our Work Involves:

MDS Mentoring Program is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Black Women and fostering Social Mobility. Our organisation brings together Black Professional Women from various industries who volunteer as mentors for Black Young Women and Girls globally.

We envision a world where Black Women are empowered to thrive as leaders and innovators. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 principle—“Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”— we aim to dismantle systemic barriers, promote gender parity, and foster economic and social mobility opportunities. Through mentorship, skill development, and empowerment workshops, we champion equality, ensuring that every mentee has the tools to achieve their fullest potential and contribute to creating inclusive communities worldwide.

What is a Mentor?

The short answer is being an advisor, teacher. trainer to a younger person and sharing your life knowledge and professional experience to help them navigate education, vocation and life confidently

Who can become a MDS Mentor?

Confident professional women who share the passion for the empowerment of the next generation of black female leaders.

Do I need training to become a MDS mentor?

No previous training experience needed as we guide and support our mentors throughout the programme
