Paula brings a wealth of experience to Mother, Daughter, Sisters, having worked in the voluntary sector, local government, and the Cabinet Office. As a senior Civil Servant, Paula led on large-scale programme delivery and government strategy, advising ministers, coordinating major policy reviews and introducing legislation across Whitehall, a focus on public body governance, leadership and workforce reform. Her award of a CBE was in recognition of her contribution to public services and leadership reform. Paula is currently a member of the London Policing Board, advising the Mayor of London on improvements to the Metropolitan Police Service. She has held several portfolio roles within the youth and education sector, including as a charity Chair and Trustee and a Schools Federation Chair. Additionally, Paula supports the assessment and recruitment of the judiciary as a Lay Panel Chair for Judicial Appointments. She is also Regulatory Adjudicator and Panel Chair for Social Work England and advises government departments and public bodies on leadership, public appointments and reform. She has been a Non-Executive Director for a Children’s Social Services Trust and London hospital trust.
